REFRIGERATION ENGINEER

CoolLogic Refrigeration Limited is a well established nationwide refrigeration business which focuses on commercial and industrial refrigeration.

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to maintain the refrigeration systems on some large commercial projects across the Auckland region. You will be experienced in, refrigeration and understand the fundamentals of end to end installation, repair and overhauls of equipment.

We have some very cool projects in the pipeline!

Responsibilities as the Refrigeration Engineer include:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting repairs and equipment (Compressors, pumps, and other environmental changing devices).
  • Installation of a variety of refrigeration equipment, working with specs, diagrams, fault conditions.
  • Operating with a H&S mindset, in compliance with legislative guidelines.
  • Testing all malfunctioning systems and components (electrical, mechanical and digital controls).
  • Management of estimates for repair and installation of equipment, as well as scheduled maintenance and servicing.
  • Working alongside the service administrator to maintain an efficient upcoming work schedule.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

  • Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 4).
  • Unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence
  • Experience in Industrial Refrigeration
  • High focus and commitment to Health & Safety
  • Great organisational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self motivated, self organising, flexible and enthusiastic attitude, team player
