We Are Keith Andrews Group. Kiwi owned and operated, distributing the Daimler Truck Brands FUSO/Mercedes and Freightliner, and a retail network from Whangarei to Dunedin.
From simple beginnings over 30 years ago in Whangarei, we have now grown to also include dealerships in Hamilton, Auckland, Palmerston North, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin. We have over 350 loyal and passionate staff providing the best service to our customers.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Marketing Manager to join our team and drive our brand forward.
Position Overview: As the Group Marketing Manager, you will be the organisational marketing and communication lead for Keith Andrews Group.
This includes, but is not limited to, both the Keith Andrews Group distribution business representing the Daimler Trucks brands in New Zealand, and the Keith Andrews Group Retail Network.
Implementing marketing strategies to enhance our market presence, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement marketing plans, strategies and campaigns to drive forward agreed business unit objectives.
- Increase brand awareness and affinity for Keith Andrews Group products and services.
- Lead and participate in project teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Liaise with external agencies on advertising, design and web development and marketing collateral.
- Foster and improve communication processes within the group.
- Managing public relations and media across group business units.
- Embed a customer-centric mind-set within group employees.
- Develop, deliver and monitor the group marketing budget to maximize return on investment.
- Coordinate events such as trade shows, conferences and promotional activities.
- Champion Keith Andrews Trucks and Fuso New Zealand regarding correct brand usage.
- Monitor market trends to ensure continuing relevance of products and services.
- Developing social media for the group, reviewing social media impact and engagement through analytics, providing reports as required.
- Increase all group business units' digital presence, engagement and capabilities.
- Be fully conversant in all details associated with products relating to FUSO, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and aftermarket partner suppliers.
- Keep open communication channels with FUSO, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and aftermarket partner suppliers.
- Provide marketing and communications support and advice to company personnel.
- Collaborate to ensure "Customer Experience" differentiates Keith Andrews Trucks and Fuso New Zealand businesses within the wider New Zealand transport and heavy automotive industries.
- Communicate and drive Keith Andrews dealer network marketing and advertising requirements, ensuring that dealers seek approval from yourself on complying with standards.
- Schedule, prepare and undertake dealer audits throughout New Zealand.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in Marketing
- Minimum of 10 years marketing management experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Ability and confidence to challenge the status quo
- Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing strategy
- Sound knowledge of the heavy automotive industry - essential
- Strategic ability - can anticipate future consequences and trends, has a broad knowledge and perspective.
