We are seeking an experienced leader for the role of Branch General Manager based in Invercargill. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Branch General Manager is responsible for all operations, service excellence, people development, strategic planning, and financial success for the renowned Southland and Queenstown Lakes District.
Working closely with the Regional General Manager, branch leadership team and support centre teams, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Leading and coaching a cohesive and productive team to develop and achieve the goals of the strategic plan which encompasses all elements of customer retention, people development & recognition, growth regeneration and process optimisation.
- Ensuring that everybody is safe, every day at work and meets the internal and regulatory safety requirements of the branch.
- Maintaining customers at the forefront of our thinking and delivering on customer excellence programs.
- Developing an engaging and inclusive workplace by being an active leader in recognising achievements, supporting employee development, and identifying future talented leaders to support their career progression.
- Ensuring healthy year on year growth is achieved and costs are contained for a well-balanced and appropriate sustainable long-term profit performance.
- Creating and maintaining positive and efficient oversight on all operational elements and KPI's within the business.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced leader comfortable with managing a large site in a complex and fast paced business environment. You will have demonstrated career achievement in delivering growth, improving customer retention, and building succession and contingency into your leadership team.
