About the Company

Gleeson and Cox Transport are an integral part of the Gleeson Group which has been operating in the infrastructure roading market for more than 50 years. You will have seen us around transporting bulk material through the greater Auckland Waikato region. We work on major roading projects, ship discharges, construction sites and operate a quarry in North Waikato.

About the role

This key role is based in Wiri, your workday will see you servicing our modern fleet of truck brands, trailers, and machinery. We manage the maintenance of our fleet between Wiri and Huntly. Successful applicants must be fully qualified.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing mechanical faults
  • Servicing and general maintenance and repairs
  • General problem solving and trouble shooting
  • All manner of regular servicing and COF repairs
  • Ability to carry out preventative maintenance

Skills & Experience

  • A proactive approach to fleet maintenance
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management
  • Strong focus on safety and quality in the workplace
  • Flexibility and able to work 6 days per week
  • A clear drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to carry out preventative maintenance

To be successful in this role you will require

  • A positive attitude, and ability to get on with others
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
