About the Role:

Chip spreading will be the main role. However, the sealing team is also the paving team and there will be asphalt work to complete as well. Any experience tipping into paver or working with asphalt would be a benefit.

You'll bring:

• Class 4 or 5 licence with WTR and Dangerous Goods endorsement.
• Experience in operation of a class 4 truck with Roll spreader attachment in reverse.
• Attention to safe work around hot bitumen products.
• Physically fit and able to support ground staff.
• A surfacing background.
• A mechanical or technical aptitude.

You will have/be:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Focused on quality workmanship with good problem solving skills
• Strong health and safety practices, focusing on bitumen safety.
• Focus on preventive maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of the sprayer.
• Ability to follow scheduled work programs and complete required paperwork
• Who can work as part of a team or independently
• Who are self-motivated and have initiative
