Specialising in the delivery of our long-term contracts for Landscape Maintenance in Queenstown, the landscape work includes soft landscaping (large-scale revegetation planting, street tree planting, grassing) and hard landscape works (installing irrigation systems, building retaining walls, structure installation and playground installs). The work includes a mix of working with a crew and on your own.
Leading Hand
Reporting to our Landscaping Project Manager and Site Foreperson, this role is to take a leading hand position in delivering our long-term contracts for Landscape Maintenance in Queenstown. This opportunity is suited for someone with previous landscaping maintenance experience looking to step up, or for a candidate who has similar experience running and organising a team in the field.
General Hand
Reporting to our Landscaping Foreperson on site, this role is for a general hand, this opportunity is ideally suited for someone with previous landscaping maintenance experience, however, candidates with no experience will be considered for this role if they have adaptable work experience and a can-do attitude.
Both roles are generally located from our site office in Hanley Farm, and we have travel options available from Alexandra, Clyde and Cromwell.
Ongoing training and licencing opportunities are provided in full-time roles.
You will bring:
- Full Class 1 driver's license (minimum)
- A positive attitude to working outdoors in all weathers
- Physically fit and reliable
- Ability to work alone or be part of a team
