Aquaheat Facility Services is a premier provider of facility maintenance services being 100% New Zealand owned and operated with over 65 years of history providing a comprehensive range of facility maintenance services to a selected range of local government, commercial, industrial and infrastructure customers throughout New Zealand.
Our team provide HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical and Plumbing services to a variety of major clients that range from the education and government sector to commercial buildings in the CBD and state of the art facilities across the region.
Aquaheat Facility Services, based in Wellington is recruiting for an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
Ideally you will have broad HVAC & Refrigeration installation and/or maintenance experience with the ability to prioritise and manage your work activities. Whilst not essential, the ability to work with and train apprentices and trade assistants will be highly regarded.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine belief in providing excellent customer service, is highly motivated and will have extensive experience in the trade.
The person we seek will have the following skills and experience:
- HVAC & Refrigeration trade qualifications with at least three years' NZ experience
- NZ residency and/or valid NZ permit to work
- A proven background in HVAC installation, maintenance, servicing and remedial repairs
- Experience with Building BMS Systems and Critical Environments
- Electrical Service Technician Licence
- Current NZ Class 1 (car) driver's license
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
