About the Role:
The Business Manager will play a crucial role in driving the profitability and success of Alsco Uniforms. This established position is integral to leading the team, ensuring operational excellence, and building strong customer relationships.

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and contributing to the overall growth of the business. Your ability to lead, innovate, and maintain client satisfaction will be key to the success of this role.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions under pressure - Proven track record of making effective decisions in challenging situations.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to assess complex situations and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong business development and negotiation abilities - Proven experience in growing the business through strategic initiatives and effective negotiations.
  • Strong customer service focus - A passion for providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proven team builder, motivator, and coach - Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • 2+ years in a similar position - Previous experience in business management or a related role is essential.
  • NZ Certificate in Business Level 4 or similar (preferable but not mandatory) - Relevant experience can also be considered.
  • Industry experience (preferred but not mandatory) - Previous experience in the laundry or textile services industry is an advantage.
