Our friendly Environmental Services team are seeking an Environmental Support Officer for a permanent full-time role.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Receive, analyse, evaluate and resolve public enquires relating to Alcohol, Food, Environmental Health, Animal Services, Parking Compliance and other team responsibilities.
- Processing all registration/licence applications according to agreed standards and timeframes.
- Ensuring invoicing is accurately undertaken including monitoring debtors and escalating when required.
- Ensure the Team's activities, workflows and timelines are met through provision of support to technical staff.
What you will bring:
- NZQA Level 3 in English, Mathematics and Computing or equivalent
- Current New Zealand Driver's Licence
- Well-developed computer knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong keyboard and data entry skills including a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to efficiently organise and prioritise high workloads and demands of customers
- Ability to co-ordinate various administration functions to maintain orderly records and databases
