About the role:

This is a casual role, which will cover annual and sick leave. The role is based at the Selwyn Aquatic Centre and will cover the days of the week including evening and weekend shift.

We are a vibrant team so a love for working collaboratively is a must, great communication skills and the ability to encourage others how to get the best out of our Aquatic Centre facilities.

• Provide excellent frontline customer service.
• Apply practical skills and knowledge to resolve customer enquiries.
• Administrative duties, cash handling, bookings
• Use your initiative and judgement to assist our customers.
• Facility cleaning tasks as required.

About you:

You will be a highly motivated and customer focused person with the ability to adapt quickly and ensure policy and procedures are followed.

You will also have:

• Previous Customer Service experience, however full training will be provided.
• Flexibility, by working additional shifts if required, including afternoons and weekends.
• Excellent people skills, able to relate to and connect with a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and cultures. A genuine enjoyment in communicating with people.
• A high degree of self-motivation and initiative - highly motivated, calm, reliable and flexible.
• Be willing to muck in and complete cleaning tasks as required.
