Customer Services Officer

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Customer Services Officer who is passionate about supporting our community and delivering a top-notch service.
You will be joining a fun, engaged and energised team who are focused on customer excellence. The team values the quality service they provide to internal and external customers by providing accurate advice, support and information on a wide range of Council matters.
If you have the following qualities and this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you:
- Have had previous customer service or contact centre experience
- Are confident in your computer skills
- Have had experience processing payments, including eftpos and cash
- Are a confident and clear communicator
- Shows empathy and has a supportive approach to dealing with customers
- Demonstrated integrity when handling sensitive and confidential material on behalf of Council and members of the public
- Able to show and demonstrate resilience
- Can think on your feet and are solution-focused
- Can work at a fast pace during busy times
- Work as part of a team
- Is reliable and values punctuality
