James Pascoes Ltd has 70 jewellery stores throughout New Zealand and we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a jewellery Buyers' Assistant based at our Head Office in Auckland Central.
As Buyers Assistant, you will be tasked with jobs such as:
- Assisting senior buyers to create and process orders, including invoice processing
- Processing deliveries
- Assisting with the allocation and replenishment of stock
- Creating product SKU numbers
- Responding to store and supplier queries
- Reviewing, analysing and reporting on stock performance
- Transferring stock between stores
- Liaising with our marketing team to provide correct prices and descriptions for marketing material
- Handling warranty claims and repairs
- Stock replenishment
- Expanding your skillset to help others and to develop your career
- Stocktaking and other duties as required
You must have:
- Relevant University or Tertiary Education
- Great communication skills
- Excellent computer experience (excel, word and outlook)
- Attention to detail
- A good work ethic
- Teamwork skills / willingness to help others
- The ability to multitask and work independently
- A passion for jewellery
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Retail experience in fashion or jewellery categories would be advantageous
