About the role | Mō Te Tūranga

Start - Enable - Empower - Do (SEED): Building resilience to support rangatahi/young people into work, further education or opportunities, by delivering a 16-week personal development programme that focuses on their wellbeing, community projects and work-readiness. Connecting rangatahi with available resource, advocating for their needs promoting their inclusion and wellbeing.

Are you our next youth connector superstar?

Perhaps you are a youth worker, or you are known to have a commitment to advocating for the rights and wellbeing of rangatahi within the community. Ideally, you will have practical work-based skills with the ability to pass your life skills onto others.

Along with:

  • Experience working with rangatahi/young people
  • Full Driver's license - comfortable driving a minibus and towing a trailer
  • Empathy and patience - working safely with young people
  • Solution focused with the ability to help others overcome obstacles
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
