About the Role

If you are pondering your next career move you will want to consider this exciting opportunity as Fuel Scheduler with Allied Petroleum in Whangarei, Auckland, or Christchurch. The purpose of the position is to:

• maximise all deliveries, plan, schedule and utilise fleet and staff availability so as to efficiently meet customer demand
• develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, team members and drivers

• provide and maintain reporting (internal and external) to facilitate accurate and timely delivery management KPI's
• We are a 24/7, 365 days per year business, so this position operates within a rotating work roster.

About You

You will likely have a background in transport or the fuel industry, with scheduling experience preferred. You must be methodical and have an eye for detail. As this is a fast-paced environment you must be able to remain calm so that you can make effective decisions when the pressure is on. You will also have:

• Solid computer skills, with a willingness to learn new computerised systems;
• A strong customer service focus, both internal and external, together with proven experience in building customer relationships;
• A commitment to complying with our exceptional health and safety standards.

In addition, you will enjoy being part of a busy team, be punctual and reliable and be flexible in your working hours.
