Customer Support Advisor

Make a Difference Every Day

With the option to base yourself at either of our Mangawhai or Dargaville offices, you'll be the first point of contact at reception and play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for customers. Whether you're answering inquiries, processing payments, or guiding people through Council services, you'll be making a real difference every day. You'll also collaborate with various teams and contribute to initiatives that improve customer experience across the district.

About the Role

In this frontline position, you will:

  • Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, email, and in person, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Provide accurate information, advice, and support on Council services and applications.
  • Advocate for customers by ensuring their needs are heard and addressed within Council.
  • Assist customers in using online self-service options to improve accessibility.
  • Process customer payments, perform banking and reconciliation tasks with accuracy.

This is a permanent role with the option to work either 32 or 40 hours per week.
