Your Role as a Service Controller

As the welcoming face of our Porirua Branch, you'll be responsible for:

• Overseeing the Service team and ensuring smooth workshop operations.

• Supporting vehicle maintenance, repair, and servicing.

• Leading technicians and managing workload distribution.

• Keeping customers updated on job progress.

• Understanding customer needs and effectively communicating with Diesel Technicians.

• Coordinating with the Parts Department and handling warranty documentation.

• Prioritizing daily tasks for workshop efficiency.

• Driving the workshop to meet monthly revenue and budget targets.

What You Bring to the Team

• Solid mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive franchise service.

• Exceptional communication skills for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Proficiency in job logging, monitoring, and invoicing using computer systems.

• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

• A team-player attitude, thriving in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification in the Automotive Industry.

• A clean current driver's licence (Class 2 or willingness to progress to Class 5 with our support).
