No two days are the same in this dynamic role, where you'll be the friendly face customers turn to for help and guidance. From answering inquiries to processing payments and guiding people through Council services, you'll play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience. You'll also collaborate with teams across the organisation, contributing to innovative initiatives that continuously improve customer service across the district.
About the Role
In this frontline position, you will:
- Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, email, and in person, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Provide accurate information, advice, and support on Council services and applications.
- Advocate for customers by ensuring their needs are heard and addressed within Council.
- Assist customers in using online self-service options to improve accessibility.
- Process customer payments, perform banking and reconciliation tasks with accuracy.
These permanent roles offer the flexibility to work 32 or 40 hours per week, with the option to base yourself in either Mangawhai or Dargaville.
