About the role | Mō Te Tūranga
This is a great role for those that enjoy having the variety of working outside. Working on your assigned plan, maintaining our parks, reserves and council owned properties keeping them looking great and fit for purpose:
- General gardening and tree maintenance.
- Spraying and Weed-eating in various parks, reserves cemeteries and walking tracks.
- Staining picnic tables, park seating and the like.
- Working collaboratively on larger repair, or maintenance jobs and projects
About you | Mōu
You are an experienced landscaper, with a good knowledge of trees, plants and shrubs.
- Your great problem-solving skills,
- Practical and can manage your time
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy things
- Experience in maintaining gardens.
- Worked with a variety of different tools and machinery
- Full clean drivers licence
The below skills are highly desirable, not essential:
- HT Licence
- Qualification in chainsaw and tree felling
- Qualification in Traffic Management
