  • A passion for people and a strong proven background in sales
  • Confident working autonomously to achieve targets & KPIs
  • Experience in cold calling and prospecting new business leads
  • Skilled at implementing action plans to drive sales and customer engagement
  • IT savvy with sound knowledge of CRM systems
  • Able to regularly travel

Our Business Development Advisors are out in the field, working with all BCITO sectors to promote industry training and develop pathways to support people into apprenticeships. This role covers the Central Otago and Southland region and is predominantly focused on achieving new apprentice enrolments and increasing our customer base, through prospecting & relationship development across our broad qualification range.

You will work with employers in the construction industry and the local community, to grow client relationships, identify and research potential customers to increase sales and enrolments and provide an exceptional level of service to everyone.
