Aquaheat New Zealand, based in Queenstown is recruiting for HVAC Installers.

Reporting to the HVAC Mechanical Supervisor on site, you will be responsible to:

• Efficiently, effectively and safely carry out HVAC Mechanical installation work, and to ensure that your work meets the relevant quality, budget and safety standards.
• Enthusiastically expedite all works in a professional and tradesman like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted commercial / industry standards.
• Work unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality HVAC Mechanical installation works.
• Work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time in order to meet deadlines.
• Ensure a safe working environment for self, colleagues, customers, and the general public.

To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:

• A relevant qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration and/or Electrical or equivalent will be preferred but not essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant trade (HVAC, electrical work, plumbing or gasfitting) is required as this is not an entry level role.
• Valid, unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence
• Installation and maintenance of HVAC & Mechanical Plant
• Commercial installation and maintenance
• Experience with building services specialising in mechanical systems
• Experience with heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Self-motivated, service orientated and hardworking
• Highly organised and detail orientated
• Fast learner with a willingess to learn
