Maintenance Operative - Casual Handyperson

About the Role:
Working as part of a close-knit team of five, and reporting to our Facilities and Maintenance Manager, you'll step in as needed to keep our village running smoothly and safely for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general handyperson services to residents and the wider village
- Assisting with the movement of furniture and specialist equipment
- Caring for indoor and outdoor furnishings and equipment
Who We're Looking For:
This role may suit a retired builder, tradesperson, or experienced handyperson looking for meaningful, casual work in a supportive community environment.
You'll need:
- Previous maintenance or handyperson experience
- Full, clean NZ driver's licence (essential)
- First Aid Certificate
- Computer literate
- Friendly, approachable, and respectful - especially with older adults
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
- Trade qualification (ideal, but not required)
