Prime Range Meats, a leading meat processing company based in Invercargill is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

If you have a strong technical background, a passion for trouble shooting, problem solving, and a commitment to maintaining optimal equipment performance, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Identify and trouble shoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Accurately manage and maintain the asset, risk, and training registers, ensuring all equipment records are up to date.
• Oversee Health and Safety documentation including JSA and Take 5's.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and timely resolutions of equipment breakdowns.
• Ensuring preventative maintenance programs are adhered to, to maximize equipment reliability.
• Have great communication skills.
• Must be motivated, energetic and a team player.
