Diesel Mechanic

We're looking for an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Tranzit workshop team based in Upper Hutt.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanic looking for a more structured workweek, hands-on work, and opportunity to upskill with the backing of an experienced workshop network.

What could your workday look like?
- Your main focus will be on routine servicing, repairs, and ensuring our fleet is ready for daily operations.
- Using your trade knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faults across a mixed fleet of urban buses.
- Working collaboratively with the Hutt Valley workshop team (including Lower Hutt) to upskill and prioritize safe and efficient work practices in our industry.
What are we looking for?
- A skilled and qualified Diesel Mechanic with proven experience.
- Strong fault diagnosis with troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
- A team player who communicates well with others.
- Someone who takes pride in their trade and enjoys working on heavy vehicles.
- Full NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
