The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician (Trade Assistant) to carry out planned and remedial maintenance tasks across commercial and industrial properties in the Wellington region. This role involves cleaning air filters, assisting qualified trade staff with maintenance and repairs, and performing general handyperson duties. You will work independently or as part of a team, delivering high-quality work to industry standards.

• Proven experience in HVAC and mechanical maintenance, or relevant trade assistant experience
• Relevant trade qualifications desirable
• Current NZ Class 1 driver's license
• NZ residency or valid work permit
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, well-presented manner
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment
• Flexibility to work after hours occasionally
