What you'll be doing
Forget endless rotations and coffee runs—this is the real deal. You'll dive straight into meaningful planning work, supported every step of the way by a team that's as friendly as they are experienced.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping applicants navigate the Resource Management Act (RMA) and process resource consents
- Reviewing building consent applications with a planner's eye
- Supporting compliance and post-consent processes
- Answering planning queries with confidence (or learn how to!)
- Collaborating with a team that's got your back

To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- A planning qualification and basic understanding of the RMA
- Time management skills and a willingness to juggle tasks
- A passion for great customer service
- Confidence with Microsoft Office tools
- A current Class 1 NZ driver's licence
- A sense of humour and a love for community
