Sawmill Operator - Milburn, Otago

Due to an internal promotion, Pan Pac Forest Products (Otago) is looking for a new Sawmill Operator to join our team at our modern sawmill, kiln, and dry processing plant in Milburn - just 50 km south of Dunedin. We specialise in producing appearance-grade timber products for export and operate on a nine-day fortnight roster - day shift only.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll learn and work across all areas of the mill, including:

• Timber grading and bin-sorting
• Operating stackers, edgers, and quads
• Forklift and loader operation

Full training is provided on-site, making this a great opportunity to grow your skills in the timber industry.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in manufacturing or timber processing
• Forklift or loader operating experience
• Current first aid certificate
• Basic knowledge of plant reliability and preventative maintenance
• Practical problem-solving skills
