At Fire Control Services Limited, we pride ourselves on delivering good old-fashioned service. Since 1986, we've been protecting commercial, industrial, and multilevel buildings across Auckland and with over 5,000 active clients, we're a stable, well-established business offering real job security.

We're now looking for 2 x full time permanent Scheduling Coordinators to join our team in Onehunga. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves communicating with a wide range of people, and enjoys taking ownership of a schedule that keeps everything running like clockwork we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

In this role, you'll take charge of the day-to-day workflow for our technicians, ensuring jobs are scheduled smoothly and clients receive the service they expect. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, juggling technician schedules, quoting remedial works, and following up on outstanding quotes to keep everything running like clockwork. It's a fast-paced, central role that calls for efficiency, professionalism, and a client-focused approach. With early hours of 7:00am-3:30pm, you'll enjoy finishing early most days, but when the team or our clients need extra support, you'll be the kind of person who's happy to stay back and see the job through.

We'll provide training and support to help you succeed what matters most is your attitude, coordination skills, and ability to build strong relationships.

What you'll bring

  • Experience coordinating teams or scheduling technicians
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A customer-first mindset and the ability to build rapport with a range of people
  • Confidence supervising staff in a firm but fair way
  • Good computer literacy and ideally some experience with integrated databases
