With over 90 years experience, Moffat Ltd is the southern hemispheres largest developer and manufacturer of commercial cooking and baking equipment. We manufacture a vast array of gas and electric product types for the local and international markets. We are part of a global organisation and our products go in the best kitchens, hotels and restaurants around the world!

We have an opportunity for a qualified design engineer to join our product design team. You'll be able to grasp our customers' needs and bring a range of innovative solutions to keep us front of mind when they are considering cooking equipment for their challenges. You'll thrive being part of a team who work from concept, CAD design, prototype, test and through to production release in our Rolleston manufacturing facility which is our NZ base for our centre of excellence and innovation

Ideally you will have degree in an engineering principle such as industrial product design or mechanical engineering and experience in electrical/gas product design /development and excellence in CAD. You'll be able to demonstrate an understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes as well as project management skills.
