As Team Manager - Development Engineering, you will:

• Lead and support a team delivering engineering advice for resource consents and post-approval monitoring
• Oversee implementation of Council's engineering standards and ensure infrastructure meets specifications
• Provide technical expertise on complex proposals (stormwater, wastewater, water supply, hazards)
• Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, and internal teams
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in systems and customer experience

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or NZ Certificate in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years' experience in civil, structural, or subdivision development engineering
• Knowledge of the Resource Management Act and local government processes
• Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
