About the Role
We're looking for friendly, motivated Customer Service Officers to join our team at Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre, with multiple opportunities available.
The Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre Customer Service Officers are the superstars at the front of our facility working hard to ensure seamless processes for entry into the facility and supporting with facility bookings and retail. Showing immense pride in the facility by promoting and understanding the services on offer and have excellent communication skills in person, online and on the phone to create the ultimate customer experience for all.
We currently have the following positions available:
- Part-time (30 hours): Monday to Friday, 12noon - 7.00pm
- Part-time (10 hours): Saturday, 6.30am - 5.30pm (There is the possibility to job share - perfect for two people to alternate weekends)
- Casual positions: Flexible hours to suit your availability
As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be confident communicating in person, online, and on the phone, and you'll take pride in promoting our services and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. Whether you thrive on busy afternoons or enjoy being part of the weekend buzz, we have a role that could suit your lifestyle.
The salary range for this position is $24.00 to $29.00 per hour with the appointed starting level dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.
About You
You will have proven customer service skills with the ability to grow positive working relationships with customers, staff and community groups. You will be competent in the use of online and computer based programmes and participate in looking for continuous improvement for systems and processes.
You will work well as an individual but also thrive in being part of a fantastic team.
Experience in managing social media for businesses and creating engaging and informative content would be an advantage and could form part of the role for the right person.
All Aquatic Services roles are subject to a police reference check under the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014.
