Join our vibrant Library team and help create a welcoming space where everyone feels empowered to learn, connect, and explore. In this role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, support access to library and exhibition resources, and assist with programmes and events that foster creativity and community engagement. Every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact by helping people discover new ideas, skills, and experiences.
This is a casual role based at Whakatāne Library, supporting the team as needed during opening hours (Monday to Saturday).

You're passionate about people and thrive in a role that combines customer service with creativity. You'll bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse community members.
- Confidence with technology and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Experience in libraries, arts, or community services is an advantage, but what matters most is your enthusiasm for helping others and creating memorable experiences.
