We are seeking a professional, proactive Executive Support superstar to provide high-level support to the General Manager and the boards of Invercargill Airport Limited and Electricity Invercargill Limited. This position is key to ensuring seamless governance processes, well-supported board operations, and outstanding executive assistance.
- Provide high-quality executive support to the ICHL General Manager and Board Chairs.
- Coordinate board and workshop meetings — including agenda preparation, minute taking, presenter scheduling, and distribution of meeting papers.
- Provide administrative assistance to board members, including organising travel and accommodation bookings.
- Ensure reports, agendas, minutes and governance documents are accurate, well-presented, and meet statutory and organisational requirements.
- Manage the General Manager's diary and inbox to support smooth workflow and timely outcomes.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across the ICHL group and wider organisation.
- Support corporate planning, report writing, quality assurance and document formatting.
What you will bring:
You will be an organised, adaptable and confident professional with:
- NCEA Level 3 with competencies in English, Maths, Office Systems and Computer Skills; and/or equivalent level of knowledge
- A minimum of three years' of practical applied experience demonstrating support to a senior management level
- Practical experience of minute taking
- Well-developed computer knowledge, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of customers, ratepayers, residents, politicians and Council's stakeholders
- Outstanding attention to detail particularly the accuracy of spelling and grammar

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, primarily 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Some after-hours work may occasionally be required to support board meetings.
