About the role:

This role is 32 hours per week.

You'll:

• Manage day-to-day contract delivery for surface water operations and maintenance.
• Drive operational resilience through proactive risk management and emergency planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold environmental and health & safety standards.
• Oversee customer service requests and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor contractor performance, financial tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide accurate reporting and contribute to strategic planning, including Annual and Long-Term Plans.

About you:

You're an experienced contract management professional with a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure services. Details oriented, financially savvy, and a natural collaborator, you thrive in dynamic environments and love solving problems before they ripple out.

You'll also have:

• 5+ years in contract management, ideally in water services or local authority.
• Strong knowledge of NZS 3910, 3917 and procurement frameworks.
• Experience in asset management systems, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Dedication to health, safety, and wellbeing.
• A relevant engineering or construction qualification and a full driver's licence.
