About the Role
Stratford District Council is recruiting for a Revenue Manager to join the team.
This is a key role responsible for all aspects of rating and accounts receivable for Council. You will lead, process and manage rating functions, debt collection processes, and debtor invoicing, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.
You will also oversee the development and maintenance of revenue policies, lead and mentor your small team, and drive continuous improvement in revenue systems and processes.
This position is full time (40 hours per week) and will be located at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford. The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 per annum with the appointed salary dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.
About You
You will have at least three years financial experience, ideally within local government and with a tertiary qualification in business, finance, or accounting.
You'll be someone who demonstrates proactive leadership and motivational ability, communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and maintains integrity, confidentiality, and a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent organisational and time management skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach are essential. You will also have the ability to think strategically and understand Council-wide impacts, while building and maintaining effective relationships.
