Expression of Interest
We're establishing a pool of experienced contractors to support delivery across our Digital Innovation Programme and business change projects, including our Customer Relationship Management project, Modern Finance initiatives, and Data & Insights workstreams. Typical engagements are 3-12 months with potential extensions aligned to the Council funding cycle to June 2028. Competitive market daily rates will be agreed per engagement.
Roles we're seeking include:
Project Coordinators
Provide support to Project Managers in governance and reporting, meeting coordination (e.g., Workstream Boards), task tracking, documentation, and programme administration.
Change Coordinators
Plan and deliver change activities (readiness, communications, training support), partnering with Product Owners and Change Leads to embed adoption across CRM and Data & Insights workstreams.
Business Analysts
Elicit and document requirements (user stories, functional specs), map end to end processes, analyse current vs future state, and shape impact assessments. Strong public sector/complex organisation delivery experience is valued.
Data Analysts
Build actionable insights and reports; strong SQL proficiency; experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric advantageous.
Trainers
Design and deliver training sessions and materials to support adoption of new systems and processes across CRM, Finance, and Data & Insights. Experience in adult learning principles and digital tools is preferred.
What you'll bring:
- Proven delivery in similar roles within the public sector or complex organisations.
- Ability to work locally/hybrid with flexible arrangements and excellent references.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborative mindset.
Engagement details:
- Contract length: Typically 3-12 months; extensions may be possible to June 2028 subject to programme needs.
- Rates: Competitive market rates; please include your hourly rate (excl. GST) in your EOI.
- Eligibility: You must have the legal right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand and be available to work onsite/hybrid as required.
