Aviagen New Zealand is seeking a skilled Document Editor to join our Vet-Quality team on a fixed term, full-time contract (minimum 6 months). Based at our Bell Block Aviagen NZ office, this role supports the Veterinarian and Quality & Compliance Officer in reviewing, editing, and formatting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related task instructions and training materials for our operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Editing and migrating existing SOPs/Task instructions into a new company template;
• Reviewing content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency;
• Liaising with the Quality & Compliance Officer and H&S team on document priorities;
• Highlighting opportunities for photos or diagrams to improve understanding;
• Maintaining document version control and review records.

About you:

• Excellent written English with strong grammar skills and attention to detail;
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word and Excel);
• Organised and methodical, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines;
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and manage document changes;
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.

This is a fixed-term, full-time role based at our Bell Block office during standard business hours.
