Join our Roading team and help keep Kaipara connected! This fixed-term role ending 04 September 2026, offers the chance to combine contract administration, finance processing, and customer service in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and monitor roading contracts and contractor performance
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and monthly accruals for roading services
- Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and service requests
- Maintain accurate records, registers, and documentation across systems
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver responsive service
What you'll bring:
You'll bring strong organisational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to juggle priorities while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
We're looking for someone with:
- 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing administrative role (local government or infrastructure ideal)
- Experience with contract or financial administration, including invoicing and claims
- Understanding of contract conditions, procurement, or tendering processes (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database entry
- Full NZ driver licence and willingness to travel across the district
