This role will utilise your expertise in tender preparation, client liaison, and risk management within a supportive and collaborative environment, supporting opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tenders for fabrication and construction projects.
• Read and interpret tender drawings and associated documents.
• Communicate and coordinate with other employees on tender requirements.
• Work with the tendering team to assemble final bid packages according to client and business requirements.
• Provide conceptual estimates for specific projects.
• Liaise with clients to establish and maintain working relationships.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Mechanical background in a construction environment - Trade or Tertiary
• Proven experience as an Estimator in Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Engineering sectors within the Petro/Chemical and Oil & Gas industries.
• Strong understanding of tendering processes and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products - mainly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
