Join us as our Community & Engagement Support Officer and play a key role in bringing projects, events and community initiatives to life across Kaipara.
What you'll be doing
This isn't just an admin role. It is a chance to be right at the heart of how we connect with our communities. Your days will be varied, purposeful and filled with opportunities to make an impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Strategy & Engagement team with daily coordination and administration
- Coordinating multiple community funding programmes that genuinely make a difference
- Assisting with the delivery of workshops, drop-ins, events and engagement activities across the district
- Helping create engaging presentations, communications and content
- Building strong relationships with community groups, patterns and internal teams
What you'll bring
You're someone who brings positive energy and enjoys making connections. You'll succeed in this role if you have:
- Experience in administration or customer-facing work
- Confidence in Microsoft Office tools
- A warm, approachable communication style with strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Cultural awareness and a willingness to continue learning
- A full NZ driver licence and flexibility to travel around Kaipara
