- Strong procurement capability, including structured sourcing practices and experience in procurement, contracting, or broader commercial roles.
- Skilled in contract drafting, analysis, negotiation, and identifying risks early with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience managing property leases, landlord relationships, and desirable understanding of building systems and condition assessments.
- Knowledgeable of New Zealand procurement environments and a good understanding of building systems and condition assessments.

The Procurement & Property Lead is responsible for managing procurement activity, contracts, supplier relationships, and property lease arrangements across the organisation. In this position, you will:
- Ensure that procurement and leasing activities are well planned, compliant with good practice, efficient, and delivers value for money.
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation, particularly with the Senior Leadership Team, Finance, and operational teams.
- Provide guidance on procurement and leasing obligations in a straightforward and accessible way.
- Support the organisation through a period of significant change and help ensure continuity of service and operational stability.
