Recreation Coordinator - Artificial Turfs

About the role
As a Recreation Coordinator, you'll play a key part in the smooth delivery of daily operations across our artificial turfs. This is a practical, people‑focused role where no two days are the same.
You'll be responsible for:
- Assisting with the coordination and delivery of turf operations and programmes
- Setting up, packing down and supporting smooth programme delivery
- Maintaining excellent facility presentation and safety standards
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Liaising with user groups, clubs, community organisations and casual users
- Helping to promote programmes and support customer enquiries
These are part-time, fixed-term winter roles, with work predominantly in the evenings. Full training is provided for the right candidates — we value attitude, communication and a willingness to learn.
The two positions share the following rostered hours. Please indicate in your application which days you prefer:
- Monday and Tuesday 5.30pm - 10.00pm
- Wednesday 2.00pm - 7.00pm
- Friday 3.30pm - 10.30pm
- Saturday 7.00am - 1.00pm
- Sunday 10.00am - 3.00pm
About you
Experience in recreation, sport, customer service or facility operations is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
You'll be someone who:
- Communicates confidently and enjoys working with all kinds of people
- Is reliable, proactive and takes pride in high-quality service
- Works well in a team and builds positive relationships
- Has a keen interest in sport, recreation or community programmes
- Are comfortable following procedures and maintaining a safe environment
- Has a positive, solutions-focused attitude
