InterCity operates long-haul passenger services in conjunction with Tranzit Group across New Zealand. We are seeking to add two Wellington based drivers to our team of experienced and professional drivers.

You will be responsible for getting our customers safely to their destinations. Due to the nature of the services, the ability to handle luggage, decipher, manifest and operate our bookings App (training provided) is essential.

We have two permanent driver opportunities available.

Relief Driver - Permanent full-time role offering a minimum of 70 hours per fortnight, with varied days of work including weekends, providing operational cover across services as required.

Wellington-Napier Driver - Permanent role offering a minimum of 70 hours per fortnight. The primary duty is our Wellington-Napier return service (4 days per week, including weekends), allowing you to return home the same day with no overnight stays. There may also be opportunities to cover other work as required (training provided).

To be successful you will have:

• Experience is preferred but not essential, we are looking for the right person with a great attitude,
• Class 4 licence,
• A Passenger endorsement or the ability to obtain one,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• A positive outlook and a great attitude,
• High regard for health and safety
• Availability to work a roster with excellent time management skills,
• Physically fit as there is some heavy lifting required.
