Administrator (Parks & Waste)

Kaipara District Council

Full-time opportunity | Based in Dargaville or Mangawhai + Flexible Working Options

We're looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to support our Parks & Open Spaces and Waste Minimisation teams. You'll be part of a busy Community Services group, helping to keep our essential services running smoothly through reliable administration, good communication and a strong customer focus.

What you'll do

  • Maintain accurate records, databases and document management
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and general correspondence
  • Support cemetery administration including interments and enquires
  • Assist with waste minimisation programmes and grant administration
  • Monitor service requests and support contract administration

What you'll bring

  • 2+ year's administration experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office and database entry skills
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
  • Able to prioritise, organise and maintain confidentiality
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and ability to work well in a team
