Quality Roading and Services (Wairoa) Ltd, a Council-Controlled Trading Organisation (CCTO) of the Wairoa District Council, is seeking a committed and experienced Board Director to join its Governance team.

It has a wealth of civil engineering knowledge and undertakes physical works contracts on roading and other construction contracts both in the public and private sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and oversight of an organisation delivering essential services to the Wairoa community.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Governance or senior leadership experience
• Strong strategic thinking and financial literacy
• A high standard of personal integrity
• A wide commercial experience, preferably in a civil contracting environment
• Demonstrated reputation for sound judgement
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and effective engagement with Māori
