Join our energetic Venues & Events crew, a team that thrives on creating unforgettable experiences for Whangārei! If you love the buzz of events and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, this role is for you.

Based at Forum North, home to the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre, Kotahitanga Exhibition Hall, and Cafler Suite, you can expect some evening and weekend work as that's when the magic happens!

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role (45 hours per fortnight) where adaptability and initiative shine. Physical strength and fitness is key in this role.

What you'll do

• Set up venues - furniture, AV gear, the works
• Keep spaces spotless and welcoming
• Tackle basic maintenance tasks
• Follow safety and security protocols
• Deliver top-notch customer service.

• Physically fit (able to lift 20kg)
• Great with people and client liaison
• Detail-focused and proactive
• Comfortable with cleaning duties
• Experienced with event setup
• Holds a clean driver's licence.
