Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance work on:
  • storage tanks (fixed & floating roofs)
  • transfer pumps and metres
  • pipeline systems
  • vapour recovery systems
  • filtration and additive systems
• Isolation procedures (mechanical & energy)
• Working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

Fuel terminals are high-risk environments, so safety maturity is essential and must have knowledge on:

• Basic fabrication and instrumentation
• Hazardous area awareness (Zone 0/1/2 or equivalent)
• Permit to Work (PTW) systems
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Isolation procedures (mechanical & energy)
• Confined space entry
• Hot work controls
• Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic

Mandatory requirements & trainings

• Current Driver's Licence
• Work at Heights (required)
• Confined Space Entry & Gas Testing (required)
• Construction White Card (required)
• API RP standards exposure (570, 653, etc.)
• Site-specific terminal inductions
• Forklift licence (required)
• HRWL - EWP (preferable)

Pre‑Employment Requirements

• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
• Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical
• Legal right to work in Australia
