This is a unique opportunity to step into the world of exhibitions, arts and heritage working behind the scenes to help deliver engaging experiences for the community. Whether you already work in the arts sector or come from a background in events, tourism, hospitality, creative industries or community engagement, this role offers the chance to build hands-on experience in a collaborative and inspiring environment.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
You'll work closely with curators, artists and technicians to help bring exhibitions and public programmes to life from installation and exhibition changeovers through to visitor experience and gallery support. You can find out more about the day to day by checking out the PD via our careers site.

You're someone who enjoys practical, creative work and thrives in a collaborative environment. You love the idea of being part of experiences that connect people, culture and community, and bring genuine enthusiasm for the arts and heritage space.
You'll bring strong organisation skills, a hands-on approach and the ability to juggle a variety of tasks with care and attention to detail. You're a great communicator who enjoys working with people, solving problems creatively and contributing positively to a team.
Most importantly, you'll have a genuine interest in arts, culture and creating memorable visitor experiences.
