The Opportunity

Play an important role in supporting sustainable water and land management across the Tasman region. The work is hands-on, varied and highly collaborative. One day you may be out in the field monitoring activities and engaging with stakeholders, the next, you could be reviewing compliance data, supporting environmental investigations or contributing to broader resource management initiatives.

You'll be involved in areas such as:

  • Freshwater and water take monitoring
  • Environmental compliance and investigations
  • Stakeholder engagement and education
  • Data management and reporting
  • Supporting sustainable resource management outcomes
  • Working through practical compliance solutions

About You

Maybe you're currently working in environmental science, resource management, sustainability, compliance or a related field and are looking for a role where you can broaden your experience while making a meaningful impact. Or perhaps you've built strong investigation or regulatory skills and want to apply them within an environmental setting.

Either way, you're likely the type of person who enjoys getting out from behind the desk, building relationships with people and working through issues in a practical, balanced way.

Experience or qualifications in environmental science, resource management, water management, compliance, investigations or related disciplines will be highly regarded, though we also value practical experience and the right mindset.
