This is a full-time position:
Sunday to Thursday, 1445-2315 (40 hours per week)
As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play a key leadership role, partnering closely with the Clinical Manager to ensure excellence in resident care.
You will:
- Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred nursing care
- Make sound clinical decisions that enhance best practice
- Support, coach and mentor care staff
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment
- Help drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes
He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate
- InterRai trained
- Proven clinical assessment and observation skills
- Experience in aged care (hospital-level preferred)
- Leadership experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, respectful approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, whānau, and colleagues
- Experience with clinical IT systems
