About the Role

Stratford District Council is recruiting for a GIS Specialist to join the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the management, development, and continuous improvement of Council's spatial data, GIS products, and services, while providing technical expertise, training, and leadership across Council.

This position is full time, working (40 hours per week), based at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford. The salary range for this position is $83,000 to $93,000 per annum, with the starting rate based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

About You

You will have a tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with up to 5 years' experience in a GIS or asset information role, ideally within a council or similar organisation

You have strong expertise in GIS systems including ArcGIS, experience with data management and integration, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively while supporting and training others.
